How To Work with a Search Consultant - Client
If you are a company in the software marketplace and have the
desire to grow and succeed, you owe it to yourself to develop a strong
relationship with BINC. A BINC Search Consultant will get to know you, better
understand your needs and help fulfill any short or long term goals.
Our advanced search process has resulted in significantly enhancing our clients’
ability to attract and retain the very best talent in the marketplace. Keep in
mind the following principles and let BINC find your perfect candidate today.
Those clients that are the most forthcoming, honest and accommodating will
always receive the best service from BINC. During those periods where we become
overloaded with companies to work with, it will be these clients that receive
our utmost attention and ultimately the best of what BINC has to offer.
Honesty
Tell us everything. It will help us be most effective in conducting
your search. We need to know all about the open position, team dynamic, etc. If you have filled your
position or don’t expect to hire somebody from us, please tell us as soon as
possible. There is no better way to damage a relationship with a search
consultant than to ask them to look for somebody who you don’t expect to hire.
Work with us
Don’t just give us a job order and expect us to fill open
position. An efficient and effective search takes effort – from both the search
consultant and our clients. Once we engage in the search, we need your time to
learn about your company, growth expectation, recruiter expectations, possible
hurdles, etc. When we submit a candidate to you, provide us with immediate feedback – our
candidates are good and are in demand. If you wait, it is likely that the
candidate will become snagged up by your competitor. If you interview our
candidate, provide us with honest feedback immediately. A new search will take
some calibration before all submitted candidates are a slam dunk fit. The better
the feedback, the better job we will do on the next candidate we send you.
Confidentiality
Everything that you disclose to us will remain confidential
and we expect that to work both ways. We ask that you respect the privacy of our
candidates and protect their rights to search for employment. Do not conduct
background checks without a candidate’s knowledge and permission. Do not contact
their current or past employers. Please treat every candidate as if he asked to
be kept 100% confidential. |
