In basic terms, web 2.0 can be defined using the following concepts – web as a platform, harnessing collective intelligence, data is king, end of the software release cycle, lightweight programming models, rich user experiences. web 3.0 has yet to be officially defined, but it can be generally associated with the following concepts and technologies – artificial intelligence, machine learning, semantic web, and smart applications.
